Dr. Bana Mashnouk is a board certified dentist specializing in cosmetic, restorative, and family dentistry. Dr. Mashnouk earned her DDS at University of Illinois– but in fact, she had earned another DDS studying in Al Baath University in Syria as well. Dr. Mashnouk has been practicing dentistry for over 15 years, and though she boasts plenty of experience, she’s passionate about learning new techniques and expanding her expertise beyond even dentistry to offer the best experience to her patients, learning and applying new technologies in dental and cosmetic surgery such as Botox to her practice.
Dr. Mashnouk is an active member of several medical organizations: the American Dental Association (ADA), the Chicago Dental Society (CDS), the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS), and the Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetic (PTIFA).
Dr. Mashnouk lives in Burr Ridge, Illinois with her husband and two daughters. Her husband is also a physician, sharing in her love of healing and caring for patients. In addition to her practice, Dr. Mashnouk is an avid reader. Her two favorite books are Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff by Dr. Richard Carlson, and The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom.
With her husband and family, Dr. Mashnouk has taken the time to collect new experiences in diverse cultures, ranging from the UK and continental Europe to East Asia. Dr. Mashnouk not only dedicates herself to serving her patients, but also pays it forward by doing charitable work for organizations to help war refugees and the misfortunate in Syria and around the world.
